Dylan Dix

Dylan Dix is originally from Scotts Valley, California. Dylan grew up playing in Northern California for the Santa Clara Blackhawks and San Jose Jr. Sharks before moving to finish his youth hockey playing for the Arizona Bobcats.

During this time,  Dylan was drafted in the WHL Bantam Draft by the Moose Jaw Warriors and the USHL Phase 1 Draft by the Muskegon Lumberjacks before signing an NAHL tender to forgo U18 hockey and play for the Corpus Christi IceRays. After his rookie season, Dylan spent time in the MJHL, SIJHL, and the NCDC before finishing his junior hockey career with the Utah Outliers and committing to the University of Utah.

Over the course of his collegiate career Dylan recorded 22 goals and 44 assists for a total of 66 points in 106 games played, setting a school record for career points by a defenseman in Utah's Division 1 era. Additionally, during his time at Utah, Dylan had the opportunity to serve as an assistant captain for 2 seasons and as team captain for 2 seasons.

He was also named to the WCHL All-Conference Second Team (x1) and the University of Utah Defenseman of the Year (x4). His final season was capped off by helping the University of Utah qualify for the ACHA Division 1 National Championships for the first time in program history. Dylan is currently exploring his options to begin his professional hockey career next season. 

Throughout his playing career Dylan has also spent time coaching. He has been offering private hockey training in both Utah and California on and off for the last 8 years and has been an evaluator at the Utah State Player Development camp since 2021.
